I have read Mitch Albom’s Five People You Meet in Heaven and I found it interesting, and that’s what made me to go for his another book called, Tuesdays with Morrie. I must say that this one is even better than the former because this book deals with a lot of emotions including a mixture of feelings. It gives smile on one hand, and will bring tears to your eyes on the other. This book is about a meeting between a student and his teacher that took place for 14 Tuesdays, and this meeting was supposed to be their last one as the teacher was his verge of death bed. They talked about all the things in life that we have forgotten while being so much engrossed so much in our daily routine. This book will open you eyes to some of the things that you might have thought off but never ever imagined throughout your life. Let us take an account of some of the Tuesdays that happened in this book.
On the 1st Tuesday, they discussed about the “whole World”, that the world is full of miseries, and that, it is all about giving love to each other. I like when the author quotes, “The most important thing in life is to learn how give out love, and to let it come in.” So, it means that when you give out something, then only, you can expect something in return. On the 2nd Tuesday, they discussed about feeling sorry for yourself. There were lots of people in this world who felt sorry for themselves, and spent most of time, just having pity in them. Why do people have to pity on themselves? Why can’t they just move on with life?
